Chief Executive Officer

Founder

Robert started his aviation career over 35 years ago as an A&P working in commercial aviation at America West Airlines. He rapidly moved his way up into supervision, inspection, and eventually into senior management. Along the way, he owned and managed several Part 145 repair stations, employing as many as 170 people. His experiences have encompassed a full scope of business management, aircraft management, and consulting.

Robert is a fully qualified Part 119 Director of Maintenance, where his expertise has provided guidance and assistance in the development of several FAA Part 135 certifications, including aircraft that seat 10 or more passengers. He utilizes this extensive experience, along with a collaborative approach, to provide the most comprehensive aircraft management experience available to private, business, and charter aircraft owners.

At home, Robert assists his wife Jamie, who manages a horse breeding facility providing top Barrel Racing horses to the Professional Rodeo community. He also manages the financial aspect of Desert Aero Services.

Chief Financial Officer

Jamie brings over 20 years of experience in business management, accounting, payroll, and human resources and provides financial direction and support, covering all aspects of the business, including accounting and controls, financial planning, tax, treasury, and assisting in profitable growth strategies. With a strong background in aviation, including being a DOT Drug and Alcohol program manager, she has a unique understanding of clients' needs regarding compliance, personnel, and finance. In addition to her role within Desert Aero Services, Jamie owns and operates a Quarter horse breeding facility, raising and providing performance horse prospects to the barrel racing community all over the US. She enjoys barrel racing the prospects she has raised.

Director of Business Development

 Logan has a wide range of experience in several different industries that has allowed him to develop a keen sense for client relations, exemplary customer service, project development, and organizational structures. He has been with Desert Aero from its early stages and looks forward to continued development that will serve its clientele. In his personal life, Logan is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time in nature with his family. 

Technical Consultant

 James has had a love of aviation his whole life. He’s been immersed in it since he was a kid, with his parents owning and running flight schools and aircraft charter businesses. James started his professional career in aviation early as an A&P mechanic, working his way into supervisory roles. He has technical experience in aircraft ranging from general aviation to military and corporate aircraft. In recent years, James has worked alongside Robert and Desert Aero Services in aircraft management roles. He is excited to use his skills, technical knowledge, and experience to meet any of your aircraft management needs.
